Icon Pallet 1.0 Released
Program and Document Launcher for OS X
July 20, 2005

We had mixed emotions about re-packaging Yellow Button as Icon Pallet. We had an affection for the old name. However, we feel that the Icon Pallet name more accurately identifies the product.

Upgrades are available for registered users of our Yellow Button program.
There is a $10 charge to upgrade from Yellow Button versions 2 and earlier.

There is no charge to upgrade from Yellow Button version 3. Just download Icon Pallet and install. You do not need to re-register.

Icon Pallet

• Icon Pallet launches programs and documents, and accesses folders with a single click. Stores over 600 programs, files and folders on one pallet.

• Organize your programs, files and folders on an expandable pallet.

• Instead of cluttering your OS X Dock and desktop with icons, drag your favorite files and folders to Icon Pallet. They will always be there when you need them and they take up less space than a cluttered desktop.

• The icons stay in the same location - even after you quit and run the program again. They are always where you left them.

• You can add names and colors to your folder icons.
This makes it easier to recognize folders in your Icon Pallet without having to roll the mouse over the folder icon to see the full name.

• Be in control of your desktop with Icon Pallet.

You want easy? Just one click on an icon will...

• Launch a program
• Open a folder
• Open a drive
• View and select items within a folder or drive

You can...
• Drag an item from the desktop to a blank square to install it on Icon Pallet.

• Drag an item from the desktop to an application icon on Icon Pallet to open the dragged item.

• Hold the control key down while clicking (or right-click if you have a two-button mouse) to see contextual menu options for each button.

• Hover the mouse over an icon on Icon Pallet to see the file name. Hold the command key down while hovering to see the full path name.
